A Surrey (UK) based club for those interested in making electronics projects related to radio communications

We offer an active programme of workshop based meetings led by the membership.

The group is developing a number of Special Interest Groups such as APRS, SCD Project, Langtsone/Portsdown Project, Microwaves and WSPR Balloons

Workshop topics topics have included:

•      Antenna Construction
  • Antenna "shoot out" competitions
•      Radio Transceiver Construction
  • Microwave construction
  • Langstone Project
  • QO-100 projects
•      Microprocessor (Arduino/ESP32) based projects.
•      Construction Techniques (Fabrication, PCB Design, 3d Printing etc)
  • Circuit simulation LTSpice
•      Home/Shack Automation
•      Test equipment use, testing and calibration or assssment of accuracy
•     External visits to maker groups and the occassional pub meet.
•     BBQ after outdoor events or AGM
•     Lots of mutual help and advice

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM
