Membership requires approval
You must currently be a member of an affiliated club or an individual member of the SPA to apply for a licence. We will check your eligiblity before approving your application.
You must not currently hold an International Petanque Licence which has been issued by another petanque federation. If you wish to transfer your licence to the SPA from another federation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If this is your first visit and you are applying for a new licence, click on 'Join Us/Renew' to get started. You'll need to have a photograph (a head and shoulders shot) available on your computer or device to upload to the system.
If you are renewing your licence, you simply need to 'sign in' (top right), check your details are current, make any amendments as necessary and renew. You can renew your licence up to 2 months before your current one expires.
Normally, your licence will take around 3-4 weeks to arrive. If you need your licence sooner than this please contact us asap.
To issue an International Licence to you, we will need to obtain and store personal information about you. The following information about you will be held in our secure system:
This information will be held in our systems for as long as your licence remains valid and for a maximum of 12 months after your licence has expired if you do not renew. Thereafter, it will be permenantly deleted. You can request that your data is deleted from our systems at any time.
Your information will only be held in electronic form and no paper duplicates will be held. The information can only be accessed by up to 3 administrators of the database, who follow strict data protection procedures. Administrators are members of the National Executive Committee.
The SPA will only use your personal data for the following purposes:

When you apply for, or renew your licence, you will need to give your consent for the SPA to hold your personal data. If you do not give your consent, unfortunately we will not be able to issue your licence.
