Welcome to Ilkley Pool and Lido Community Group

The Ilkley Pool and Lido Community Group (IP&LCG) was established in April 2024 by a group of individuals and organisations committed to ensure the long-term future of Ilkley’s indoor swimming pool and lido. Over 400 people supported the subsequent campaign to keep the pool and lido open.

Join us and help ensure that the Ilkley Pool and Lido goes from strength to strength.

We have a small membership fee - currently just £5. This fee is to cover the costs of running the Group including the cost of the website and other general administrative costs. It is not intended that money raised from membership fees is part of the fund-raising activity the Group undertakes in support of the indoor pool and lido.

The benefits of membership include:

•  Entitled to vote at the AGM (in September)

•  Entitled to stand for the Committee

•  Member only events - eg Community Picnic

•  Member only swim sessions at a reduced fee

•  Priority booking for events organised by the Group

Our membership year starts on August 1st. We have extended the current membership year to December 2026 at no additional cost.

If you decide you do not wish to become a full member but wish to support the group’s aims and objectives and receive regular updates, we do need you to complete the application form and your consent to receive information.
