Welcome to Fife Sea Kayak Club
We're a small friendly club based in the Kingdom of Fife, who enjoy paddling not only around the Fife coast but all over Scotland and beyond. The club is adult only and is run informally; we are affiliated with the national governing body Paddle Scotland.
Our aim is to support members in their own paddling development as part of our peer group; formal qualifications are not required however, paddler safety is our priority. Each member is encouraged to develop the skills to meet their own paddling aspirations within the club. We do not have a generic development programme for beginners, this is done through informal coaching sessions with the support of experienced club members, and through club development days, with professional coaches brought in to lead the sessions.
We have a small fleet of sea kayaks and ancillary equipment available for members to use in return for a small donation to club funds.
Currently, membership costs £13 per year. If you are interested in joining us please follow the "Join us" link and complete the application form; we'll then have a quick chat to make sure we'll be able to meet your expectations. If you'd simply like a quick chat about the club, email Dave Wishart at the address shown, with your contact details and a good time to give you a ring.
