Membership Arrangements for Summer 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming you to summer at Berkswell Cricket Club in 2026.

Below is our provisional 2026 summer training programme.

Hardball Membership

Hardball will usually be suitable for school year 5 and above. It may be necessary to assess children around the ages of 8-10 and decide what they are best suited to. Please select the membership category that you think is most appropriate. This can be changed at a later date.

Summer session times (open to all children) are expected to be:

Thursday, first session 23 April 2026, last session 9 July 2026 (no training 28 May):

• U10 and U11 (years 5 and 6) Hardball                   5:00 – 6:30pm
• U12 (year 7) Hardball                                                6:30 – 8:00pm

Friday, first session 24 April 2026, last session 10 July 2026 (no training 29 May):

• Softball                                                                        5:30 – 6:30pm
• U13 and U14 (years 8 and 9) Hardball                   6:30 – 8:00pm

U15 + (year 10 +) will train on Wednesdays with the adults.

Girls Only Hardball

Tuesday 14 April 2026:

• U12 and U13 (years 7 and 8)                                   6:00 – 7:00pm
• U14+ (year 9+)                                                           7:00 – 8:30pm

Softball Membership

Softball will usually be suitable for girls and boys ages 7+ (or 6+ if they have done All Stars cricket).

Summer sessions with be Friday 5:30-6:30pm, first session 24 April 2026 last session 10 July, no training 29 May).

General notes:

• All summer training will take place at Berkswell CC, Meeting House Lane, Balsall Common, CV7 7FX
• Sibling discount applies – first child full price, 20% discount for siblings based on lowest cost membership
• If for any reason training can’t take place messaging will be via Spond and social media channels

All Stars Cricket

We are offering our very successful ECB All Stars cricket programme for children aged 5-8 again this summer.

Please be aware that whilst we take all reasonable precautions, playing cricket with a hardball carries a small risk of injury.  For their own safety and enjoyment only those players who our coaches deem as having developed sufficient skills will be allowed to participate in hardball cricket practice and/or matches.
