Welcome to Yate & District Athletic Club

Registration for 2021/2022 is now open. Renewal notices have been sent to current members (check your junk mail or press the big orange button).

New joiners press the  big orange Join button below

Initial registration includes a competition vest and, for athletes aged 11 and over, registration with England Athletics.

Membership also entitles you to muddier winter competition with our partner club Westbury Harriers. You will need to complete an affiliation form with them too and now, because of recent EA changes, an other discipline form.

How to Join / Renew

Click the Join button to enter your membership information, in the safe knowledge that your data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Studying away from home?

If you are studying away from home and can't make it to training, but still fancy competing for us over the summer (or if there's a  Midland or National League event near you in term time), then you can take advantage of our special £16 Student renewal rate (for existing members only).

Higher Claim

Yate AC compete in the newly formed National Athletics League. Athletes from other clubs can compete for Yate AC in our NAL team as a higher claim athlete (if their first claim club is not part of the league.) Any athletes who would like to be part of our team as a higher claim athlete should contact Graham Howell (GraTimHow@aol.com) as soon as possible. The deadline for the higher claim applications is the end of February.

Transferring from another club

If you are currently, or have ever been, registered with another club, you will need to request a transfer through England Athletics before we are able to register you with Yate AC. Links to the online transfer form can be found here.

Other Discipline

If you currently compete for an off road club you may be able to maintain two memberships by completing an other discipline form and joining Yate AC on the track. This will need to be submitted to your original club in order for them to authorise you competing for Yate AC.
