Annual membership falls due for renewal on 1 March each year. Reminders are not automatically sent. Memberships can be renewed here from 1 Feb and must normally be renewed by the end of March. If no payment is received by the end of March then a late fee equal to the joining fee is applied to any subsequent renewal. After 31 March and absent special considerations the membership is considered to have lapsed and may only be revived with Committee approval and payment of the due fees. Lapsed members may not take part in Club activities as members. Lapsed member boats left in the compound are dealt with in accordance with the relevant Byelaw. They will not be stored free of charge.

Wigan and St Helens Sailing Club is located at Poolstock, on the beautiful Scotman's Flash. The Sailing Club is a merged club formed in April 2020 from Wigan Sailing Club and Pilkington Sailing Club. Some details about the merger and history of the clubs can be found on the main part of the club website.
The club has a friendly atmosphere and membership is open to everyone with an interest in sailing and related watersports.
