Once the squads are full we have to turn players away to ensure we have space to train and the right ratio of player to professional coach to ensure a good experience for all.

15 professionally coached squad training sessions with our ECB coaches
Matches representing the club (U8 & older)
All pitch and match fees
Use of clubs equipment & nets
Full social membership of the club for Junior parents - enjoy the bar on the green.
All members (Senior, Social & Juniors) should sign up using this system. Everything should make sense as you proceed but we have also produced a membership FAQ here WCC on line registration FAQ's 2018.pdf which should cover any immediate questions. If not, please get in touch.
Please either log in to your existing record and click renew, update (i.e. change the squad as if a Junior, the player will be a year older, update email & phone numbers etc if required) or if a new member create a new record for use this year and in future seasons. Don't forget to pay via bank transfer, paypal or direct to the club.
Seniors play Saturdays & Sunday with training on Wednesday evenings.
Juniors Information -
While we are keen to welcome new members, numbers in each squad are limited across the club. We work to carefully thought through coach to player ratios to ensure we offer the best Cricket experience in the area. All new applications will be tagged as 'for approval' as we have th=o assess if there is space in the squad available.
Once the squads are full we will close membership for 2018.
Juniors membership includes Professional ECB Qualified Coaches running sessions, along with social membership of the club for parents which includes the use of the clubs licenced bar & facilities throughout the year - not just the cricket season.
Hardball memberships include cost of some home games scheduled at St Georges college. We don't charge match fees unless we have to unexpectedly hire an alternate pitch so your membership fee covers the whole seasons Cricket.
Once registered for the season, please pay swiftly by Internet Bank Transfer, by Credit Card or Cheque at the club, Paypal (which does cost us 3%) or by alternate arrangement with team manager. NOTE: Please include a reference (ideally player surname and squad) with any payment to help us with the administration.
We have some funded places and bursuries available thanks to the generosity of club members and sponsors. If you require some assistance to enable your young cricketer to enjoy our club, please get in touch.
When to train / play
The Senior fixtures will be communicated by team managers, Play Cricket & the clubs website. Seniors train on Wednesday evenings.
Juniors training starts on Sunday 15th April 2018 (first sunday after Easter holidays) and training runs for 15 weeks to 22nd July 2018. Junior matches will continue into August along with the ability to extend the season and sign up for summer junior training.
Sunday training (Soft & incrediball)
9:00-10:15 U6, U7 squads
9:00-10:00 Big Hitters (Reception year Cricket fun, learn more here Big Hitter 18 Overview.docx VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED)
10:30-12:00 U8 boys, U9 boys (incrediball match squads) & Girls squad (Girls U6-U8),
NOTE: Girls are permitted to play up to 2 years younger so an U11 could play U9 matches.
NOTE: Hardball matches start at U10 - Helmet, pads, gloves & box required.
Midweek (hardball training)
U10 & U11 Monday arrive 18:00 for session running 18:15 - 20:00
U12 & U13 Tuesday arrive 18:00 for session running 18:15 - 20:00
U14 & U15 Wednesday arrive 18:00 for session running 18:15 - 20:00 (alongside our senior players)
Girls (U9-U10 & U10-U11) Thursday arrive 18:00 for session running 18:15 - 20:00
U16's will play in the adult social Sunday sides & our academy sides forming a pathway into senior cricket..
(We work to the ECB Age groups which are based on the age of the player at midnight on 31st August in the year preceding the current season. Matches - Games in the West Surrey leagues are spread across the week both home and away as Cricket pitches are available. Only home Incrediball ball (U8-U9) games take place on the green on a Sunday morning.
