Welcome to the Wiltshire Astronomical Society Membership site. We are a small, friendly and active group of astronomy and space enthusiasts based in Wiltshire, UK.

Why Join?

You get to contribute and participate in our friendly society for local astronomy enthusiasts. There are a number of ways to get involved:

• Attend our regular observing sessions (see website for further details wasnet.org.uk/observing/), or make your own observations and share with the community
• Join our active members-only Facebook group facebook.com/groups/wiltshire.astro.society/ where you can get help, share photos and see what the community is up to.

• Volunteer, the society would love to have volunteers to assist with our outreach events and helping run the society.

Also, your annual membership fees helps us to cover the following costs:

• IT costs, such as domain fees, website hosting and the zoom account
• cover insurance so that we can put on meetings, observing sessions and outreach events
• costs to cover meetings such as hall fees, projector, refreshments and occasion speaker expenses
