Applying for Membership

• There are five membership catagories (2026 fees and charges)
• Ordinary Member £30.00 (An ordinary member should be at least 1/3 cruiser owner, will have full voting rights and be eligible for a mooring where available @ £8 per foot
• Adult sailing Member £20 (Non boat owning members crewing on Ordinary Member boats, this membership catagory has no voting rights)
• Associate Member £40. (Associate members, also known as slip members) are day boat owners entitled to use the slipway for launching and recovery of their boat and crew members.
• Junior Member (under 18) £0
• Temporary Member The club is able to grant temporary membership status to visiting yachtsmen and their crew , and others as deemed appropriate by the club Council

• How do I apply to be a member?  Complete our online membership application form by clicking on the Join us / renew button, your application will then be reviewed by the club membership committee and you will be contacted to confirm your acceptance and pay your subscriptions / mooring fees before arranging a visit to the club to collect your keys.
• Before submitting an application please read the club rules (download from this page) Club Rules 2024.docx a condition of membership is that you will abide by the rules.
• Moorings are only available to residents living within a 25 mile radius of Workington.

*Please note storage ashore for boats and their trailers where the member has an allocated mooring is included as part of the annual mooring fee at no additional cost.
