Anyone who flies at the ulster flying club must be a member.
Students - Available to members that DO NOT hold a licence and are learning to fly
Pilots - Required for members holding a Pilots Licence
Country - Available to pilots with their own aircraft NOT based at EGAD
Visitor - Available to visiting pilots who wish to rent our aicraft or make use of free landings

Student
Student membership must be held by anyone undergoing training at the Ulster Flying Club.
Student (Under 18 in Full Time Education)
Student membership must be held by anyone undergoing training at the Ulster Flying Club.Use of Club Facilities
Pilot
Pilot membership must be held by anyone wishing to operate their own aircraft or hire a club aircraft at the Ulster Flying Club.
Senior Pilot
Discounted Pilot rate for anyone aged 65 and over.
Country
Membership for pilots who are not based at EGAD and use the facilities regularly.
Visitor
Available to pilots or students wishing to visit our airfield for temporary training or aircraft hire
Life Membership
Can be purchased upon reaching 60 years of age
Staff Membership
Staff are members of the Ulster Flying Club
Entitled to 50% off membership rates if they wish to upgrade to full membership
Definition of Staff – A person who is employed by the Ulster Flying Club full time or who is considered to be available for temporary employment or is currently registered with the club to supply their services under a self-employed basis.
Profile of the Committee
The committee will only have ONE employee (10% of committee) member who may not serve as an Officer of the club and who will have upgraded from Staff to full membership.
The committee will only have TWO members employed in an airfield business (20%) and they may not serve as an Officer of the club. No business may have more than ONE member on the committee.
Employee and Business members of the committee will be required to vacate meetings during topics for which they have a conflict of interest.
Airfield businesses are defined as activities that take place on the airfield in which the UFC has a direct financial relationship, by either charging or paying for services beyond the definition of employee or member.
During the AGM voting, the employee member with the most votes will be elected if an employee vacancy exists. If no employee vacancy exists, no employee member nomination will be accepted for that year.
During the AGM voting, the two business members with the most votes will be elected if sufficient vacancies exist. If only one business member vacancy exists, the business member with the most votes will be elected. If no business vacancy exists, no business member nomination will be accepted for that year.
