New members must have completed an introductory session in the pool or on the river and been approved by the session coach before joining the club.

Our full annual membership for the first family member in 2023/24 is £95. It is the same for adults and under 18's.

Membership for each additional household member is £55

Please choose the family membership to suit you. Please bear in mind the first member's email address is used for everyone linked in the family membership and in the same way the first family member is authorising and accepting terms for each linked member. Ideal for adding young paddlers.

If you have an over 18 in the family who would prefer to use their own email address and accept the membership terms themselves please use the additional family member (It's the same price).

Every applicant, that is not a member of British Canoeing, needs to add on £2.50 as a contribution to the club affiliation. This will be added at the checkout if you can't supply your BC number.

Our preferred payment method is bank transfer. We can accept cheques and cash if this isn't possible. Monthly payments are only available to existing members.

Temporary Day Membership is only available to non-members on taster sessions.

Under 18's

Applications for under 18's must be completed by a parent/carer. Children under 8 can be a member at the discretion of the committee so long as a competent paddling parent joins and takes responsibilty for them on the water.

Equipment

Use of club equipment is included in the membership fees. Any lending of equipment needs to be authorised by our equipment officer. Specialised club equipment such as slalom or racing boats can be used subject to availability and coach's permission. All members are expected to provide their own equipment such as cags and decks after a reasonable amount of time.

Keys

The number of keys are limited and are held by contirbuting members of the club. E.g. committee members, coaches and other officials.

Car Parking

There are just three parking spaces allocated to the club, however outside of office hours, members can use the adjacent car park.

Club T-Shirts

Club T- Shirts are available to buy from Store Purchases
