Benefits of Joining us
We are a thriving running club meeting twice a week for organised training sessions and competing in Road, Cross Country, Trail, Fell and Ultra races.
There is no need to be a particularly fast runner (as long as you can run at 12 minutes per mile pace for 4 to 5 miles you should be okay!) and there is no obligation to turn up regularly. A lot of our members have family and work commitments and just come down to the club when they can
Join Tadcaster Harriers and you will gain encouragement and support from training with a group of like minded people. Whatever your ability there will always be someone to run with.

If you don't feel like you want to make the commitment to join yet, then why not try us out?
If you think you might like to join us, please feel free to contact Mark Swinden, the club Chairman. Mark will be able to answer any questions you have and advise you on the best times to come and try out our training nights.
Alternatively, just come down to Tadcaster Magnets and join us for a run. You are welcome to come for two or three runs before making a decision about joining. Please make sure you check the training pages of our website first though. Training sessions are occasionally moved to accommodate club races.
Membership Year
Our membership year runs from 1st November to 31st October. If you join the club between these dates it is at a reduced membership fee. Please see the joining page for the fees that will apply.
