Welcome to The Streatham Society

The Streatham Society is a local amenity which represents a large community of residents in the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Wandsworth. 

​The purpose and aims of the Society are to raise the awareness and appreciation of our local area and to maintain and improve the quality of life for all who live and work in Streatham.

The Society recognises and values the diversity of people living in Streatham and the multi-cultural nature of our community.

Membership provides free attendance at our monthly talks and a quarterly newsletter on topical curent (including planning) matters and historic information. You will also have advanced notice of other events such as our very popular walks and tours.

We welcome overseas members (fees must be paid in sterling and are at the same rate as home fees). We are unable to send a printed copy of the newsletter by post and an e-newsletter in pdf format will be sent by email.
