The Association is proud to offer an independent voice for boat owners who have a mooring or berth in St Helier's harbours. With no conflicts of interest we are well placed to objectively represent the views of our members.
Our members are the lifeblood of the Association. You are the reason we do what we do and you are the reason for the continuing success of the Association. As members of the St Helier Boat Owners Association, we are better able to communicate and develop our shared interests with one voice. We encourage open and active engagement with our membership, and we meet regularly with Ports of Jersey to address current issues. The larger our membership, the stronger our voice. Anyone who owns or crews a boat moored, or launched from a slipway in the harbours of St. Helier is eligible to join. Why not check if your neighbours are members? If they aren't, direct them to our website for an application form. Our annual subscription is very good value at £10.00 single and £16.00 joint.
There are a number of different boat owners associations representing the boat owning community of Jersey. The St Helier Boat Owners Association is a founder member of the Jersey Association of Boat Owners Associations. (JABOA) This Association has been established so that we can present a united front on boating related matters in the future. To this end, StHBOA has entered a Memorandum of Understanding with the following groups :-
Bonne Nuit BOA - Bouley Bay BOA - Gorey BOA - Greve de Lecq BOA - La Rocque BOA - Rozel BOA - St Aubins BOA
If any member has issues concerning the Marinas and Harbours around St Helier, feel free to contact the Association by using this link Contact (sthboa.org) We will do our very best to bring these to the attention of Jersey Harbours and get them resolved.
