This is the South Machars Community Centre, Whithorn membership joining page.

The following tariffs seemed to offer the best for everyone:

From our reopening date in April 2019 the membership for non-commercial user groups was reduced from £12 to only £3 per person per year and it’s then only £1 per person per hour for whichever group you attend. Membership benefits will become clearer in time but the main one is that you are showing your support of the centre and that is worth a fortune!

And if you want to hire any of the rooms for your own event, kids party, funeral wake, music evening, dance group, film night or whatever the rate for the smaller rooms is £8 per hour and for the main hall is £12 per hour. Pictures, room sizes and other information available by clicking here.

What Happens Once You’re a Member
Thank you for becoming a member, it really shows your support of the centre, a vital resource in our community.
And the benefits of being a member will entitle you to all sorts of wonderful offers! You will soon receive your membership card and be updated on forthcoming events at the Community Centre by a quarterly ‘What’s On’ email or newsletter. And now you’re a member why not become a volunteer and get involved and have your say on how the Community Centre is run – after all it is yours!
How We Will Handle Your Personal Data
• When you join we will only contact you in the ways that you ask us to and you may change your preferences at anytime.
• We will only keep details on you that are necessary for the processing of your membership.
• We will keep your full details securely on file for up to two years, and we will not share your data with any other organisation, unless there is a legal requirement to do so.
• We like to keep you up-to-date with what’s going on at the Centre and send you Membership only offers. We prefer to send these updates via email, as it is cheaper to administer and saves on postage, so if you tick to receive emails it will be our primary way of keeping you informed.
