Membership FAQ's
Q: My membership is only showing until 31st December. Why is this?
A: Membership packages last year-2-year, meaning packages renew every January 1st.
Q: When we renew our packages at the end of the year, do they come in at a reduced rate?
A: Yes - although, this is subject to change when we see fit. If you've already paid your membership package for the year, this will not change until the following year. Chances are that we will not adjust our fees, but your membership fees go towards things such as uniform, training packages, membership portal fees, fuel for our vehicles and developmental technology.
Q: If I am volunteering my time, why should I have to pay?
A: Most membership agencies, or organisations, ask for a donation fee when volunteering with them. We put our fees inclusive for the year, meaning it is a one-off fee until the year end. This way, you will not have to pay here and there, meaning you don't need to stress about your membership being updated & current. Your donation and membership fee also means we can keep you safe and protected with our insurance in-situ. Once signed up as a member, you will have access to our Insurance Policy which you can provide those who request it when supporting communities.
Q: Is there a membership specifically for disabled or those who are on benefits?
A: We can discuss options for those who deem themselves as disabled. We will ask for proof of disability, or proof of benefit to offer you a reduced membership rate. Send your proof to: hello@sarscymru.org.uk.
Q: How do I become a trustee, or part of the Board of Trustees/Directors?
A: If you are interested in being more involved, please send us an email directrly to hello@sarscymru.org.uk. Please attach your CV.
Q: I don't want to volunteer my time, but would prefer to support your cause. Is there any way I can do this?
A: Certainly! If you'd like to make a donation directly, please head to: SumUp Donate. You can still access our public services via our webpage.
Q: I cannot see my question here, how can I ask a question otherwise?
A: It is simple. Send us a WhatsApp, or drop us an email with your query. We're always happy to help.
