What’s so special about Reza’s Community Orchestra?

Based at Oathall Community College in the heart of Sussex, Reza’s Community Orchestra is an exciting, nurturing environment for aspiring musicians of all ages and abilities to experience playing in an orchestra. Coached and sitting amongst our pool of seven professional musicians, you’ll learn new skills and meet like-minded people who all share one passion - playing great music together.

We welcome all ages from 5 to 85 but please note, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (who can bring a book!)

We meet once a month, please note our new venue: Oathall Community College, Appledore Gardens, Haywards Heath, RH16 2AQ

This term we will be starting with a 'Come and Play' session on Sunday 20th September from 3pm–5.15pm. To join this session, please book your place from the Ensemble Reza box office page: https://www.ticketsource.com/ensemble-reza. 

This will be the perfect opportunity for players of all ages to try the orchestra without having to commit to a full term and for those returning to the orchestra, we will look ahead at some of the pieces for the term, with something everyone can join in with, at whatever level.

Remaining rehearsals are available to book from this site and include: 

• Sunday 18th October: 3.00pm-5.15pm 
• Sunday 15th Novermber: 3.00pm-5.15pm

This term we are getting festive early with our theme ... Let it Snow! We are thrilled to be joined by Sarah Rolph and Sing Choirs for children.  Music for the term will include: 

• Movements from the Nutcracker Suite, including the Overture
• Prokofiev - Troika
• Delius - Sleigh Ride 
• Anderson - Sleigh Ride
• Frozen Selection including Let it Go 
• White Christmas
• O Holy Night
• Dean Martin - Let It Snow, Let It Snow 
• A selection of carols tbc
