The short name for the Group is NWRoAR - North Wales RoSPA Advanced Riders.
We are the sole RoSPA motorcycle group for North Wales, covering Ynys Môn (Anglesey), Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham. Our aim, as a group of volunteers, is to develop our members' advanced motorcycling skills in order to enhance their riding experience and increase their level of riding enjoyment. As a byproduct of raising onroad awareness and skills advanced riders also reduce their risk of becoming involved in a road traffic incident. This doesn't mean riding more slowly, but more skillfully, confidently and safely.
You can find NWRoAR members involved in a wide range of riding activities including charity runs with local clubs, riding blood bikes, as Observers supporting the North Wales Police BikeSafe scheme and generally enjoying the wonderful variety and quality of roads on 'our patch'!
We encourage all new members to become involved in the Group and welcome suggestions that will add to the experience of being a member.
You can join us as a New Member or renewing as an Associate, Full or Group Member.
If you are joining as an New Member or are renewing Associate we'll do our utmost to raise your skills towards reaching and maintaining the level of a RosPA Gold, which the majority of our Associates successfully achieve.
