As a club we specialise in training the handlers of all HPR breeds from puppy/beginner right through to field trial standard. We have a wealth of experienced trainers and we meet on a variety of different grounds throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. The training grounds are all particularly suited to HPR work and are well away from roads. Training is split into different level groups and all dog/handler partnerships work through a structured training programme with continuous assessment and support.
We are a very inclusive club and welcome people from all backgrounds, the only thing we ask is that members put in the time and commitment to training their dogs between our training sessions in order to make reasonable progress. Our training sessions usually lasts between 2-3 hours, a little less for puppies. All prospective new members are welcome to attend their first session as a guest. Following this membership costs £10 for single or £14 for joint membership per annum, running from 1st Jan.
In addition to regular training we also organise specialist training days, gundog working test training days, spring and grouse point tests, shot over days and field trials as well as our annual bbq. Please visit our website for further details -
