We are a group of about 400 bell ringers in North Staffordshire who meet to ring and socialise together. We give support and training throughout the area, promote bell ringing and provide bell ringing advice. We offer serveral membership options open to bell ringers who reside or are active ringers at towers in the geographic area of the Archdeaconny of Stoke-on-Trent.
Ringing Membership: Open to those who can ring either 120 half-pull changes of Doubles or cover with the tenor bell for not less than 120 half-pull changes, or demonstrate that they are progressing in the art of change ringing to the satifaction of the committee (The committee decided in 2017 that this can include the ability to ring Twenty all Round.)
Associate Member - Is open for all other ringers,
Honorary Life Members - May be conferred on members in recognition of outstanding service to the Association .
Junior Ringing Members - Same requirements as Ringing Membership but for those aged under 18.
Junior Associate Members - Same requirements as Associate Membership but for those aged under 18.
Non Resident Life Member: If you do not live in the area of the North Staffordshire Association and you are a bell ringer you can apply for a Non-Resident membership, for a one off fee.
