The club rents courts from Oxford City Council at the Alexandra Courts in Summertown. There are six hard courts available all year round and a further six grass courts in the summer.
We have club sessions twice a week when all members can just show up and play with other members. For each session, one member serves as the organizer who will ensure that everyone plays as many games as possible. For court hire at other times, members get a two-thirds discount on the normal price.
We have club coaches who offers some free sessions and also run an extensive juniors programme. So if you would like your children to learn how to play tennis, Norham Gardens is the ideal club to start. In addition the club enters men’s, women’s and mixed teams in Oxfordshire leagues.
The club is constituted as a non-profit making company limited by guarantee and managed by directors and a committee elected at the annual general meeting. It is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) which means that all members are also entitled to free Advantage membership of the LTA which offers preferential access to Wimbledon tickets.
