About the Association
We exist to maintain & improve conditions for the residents of Nottingham One by representing them in discussions with the freeholder (Nottingham One (UK) Ltd), their managing agents (Landsdown de Coy) and other organisations such as the City Council Membership is open to all leaseholders and sub-tenants but voting rights are limited to one per apartment. Our 2026 Goal
In 2025 we increased our membership by 70% so that 50% of the apartments not wholly owned by Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) are owned by our members. Nevertheless, we still want more to join. The power we have to influence increases with the more members we have. We now have enough members so that, with MTVH's support, in 2026 we can pursue Right to Manage (RTM) which is the right to hire and direct managing agents of our choice. It can feel helpless being a leaseholder as you can be forced to pay any amount for the management, repair and maintenance of the building with no right to object. We need to ensure we're getting value for money and increasing our membership is the way to achieve this. For 2026/27 our membership subsciption is only £5.
