***We are following the COVID situation closely in relation to the opening of outdoor pools, and are hoping to be able to put our 2021 memberships on sale from March 2021. Thanks for your understanding.***
There's been an open air pool within the grounds of Marbury Park since the 1930s. It was built when Marbury Hall was being used as a country club, and was taken over after the Second World War by ICI, who acquired it for the use of their employees.
Since the 1970s the pool has been operated by Marbuy Park Swimming Club, a private club run by a committee of volunteers, whose aim is to keep this important (and fun!) piece of local history open for the local community to enjoy.
Membership is on a seasonal basis and is open to everyone. The pool is open seven days a week from May to September (check our social media for up to date opening times as these can vary). An adult membership costs £70 and a child (3-16) costs £30.
Please note that for the 2021 season, every member (both adult and child) must complete the online membership form and upload a suitable photo for their membership card. If you are buying multiple memberships, this will require multiple transactions although a single email address may be used against multiple memberships. Child memberships can only be purchased alongside an adult membership.
