When you join the London Clarion, you also become a member of the National Clarion Cycling Club. Your membership includes:

• Access to All Club Rides: Regular Saturday or Sunday club runs, social rides, relaxed weekend spins, long-distance challenges, and occasional touring trips. We operate a strict no-drop policy — we ride together and look after each other.
• Ride with GPS Club Access: Exclusive access to our club account means free turn-by-turn voice navigation, offline maps, a curated London route library, and easy export to Garmin, Wahoo, and other GPS computers — no expensive personal subscription needed.
• The Club WhatsApp Group: The heart of our daily community for ride planning, route sharing, and general chatter.

Membership Categories

We want our club to be accessible to everyone.

London Clarion Cycle Club is a historic, friendly London cycling club founded in Clapham in May 1895 — one of the oldest cycling clubs in the capital and a section of the National Clarion Cycling Club. Our motto, borrowed from William Morris, is “Fellowship is Life.”

Today we have 180+ members and organise no-drop social rides most weekends at a relaxed pace of around 12mph, alongside longer rides, cycle touring and weekends away. Rides are organised via Spond and all abilities are welcome.

Membership for 2026:

• £20 Adult full membership — includes up to £5 million third-party liability insurance and National Clarion Cycling Club membership

• £39 Family full membership — up to 2 adults and children under 18, with insurance and National Clarion membership included

• £10 Adult / £19 Family — club membership only, without insurance or National Clarion affiliation

• £10 Clarion Fellowship — non-cycling supporters

Payment by PayPal, card, bank transfer, cheque or cash, requested once your application is approved. Memberships expire 31/12/2026.
