Benefits

The Lithic Studies Society is open to all who have, or would like to develop, an interest in lithic artefacts of any period. The Society has members from four continents.

Membership is growing steadily, and we are always delighted to welcome new members.

Your membership supports:

• Publication of our peer-reviewed journal, Lithics
• Organisation of talks, workshops, conferences, and field trips
• Research grants, bursaries, and awards

As a member you'll also receive exclusive discounts on our events and access to members-only events. You'll also be able to attend our AGM, which takes place towards the beginning of the membership year (usually around November).

The membership year runs from 1st October to 30th September.

Fees

We currently charge £15 for individual/joint membership and £30 for organisational/institutional membership.

We allow two individuals to join as joint members from the same address, but only the primary member will receive a printed copy of the journal. Members-only and discounted tickets are available for linked members.

You can pay online with a debit or credit card, or using PayPal. Your membership request will be automatically validated when paying online. We no longer charge a surplus for online payments.

We waive current year membership fees if you sign-up for membership within the last 2 months of the membership year. You will automatically be enrolled for the next membership year.
