Welcome to Holy Trinity Amenity Group

• HTAG is your neighbourhood association, formed to look after the interests of local residents to foster good community relations.
• HTAG's interests cover that part of Holy Trinity ward closest to the town centre, plus amenities provided by the town itself.  Where appropriate we co-ordinate with Guildford Residents Association (GRA).
• All our activities are undertaken by volunteers, who scrutinise planning applications affecting the HTAG area and provide outings for our senior citizens (funded by the social events we run).  Subscriptions cover our expenditure on newsletters, members' meetings, insurance for our social events, and donations consistent with our aims.
• We issue a quarterly Newsletter, currently distributed by Road Representatives to households in their areas.  With the advent of this system we aim to make more use of electronic means of communication.
• A Social Committee organises and promotes social events for all ages throughout the year; including open gardens, carol singing, quiz nights, theatre visits, seniors' outings and coffee mornings.  We welcome new suggestions and assistance in organising events.
• A Planning Committee meets regularly to examine planning proposals.  It publicises those having an impact on the area and makes representations to the relevant authorities.
• Local issues are discussed at Quarterly Meetings of Members and Road Reps, to which we invite external speakers (including local councillors and interest groups).
• HTAG Needs You - we always welcome people prepared to take a turn participating in our activities, whether it is acting as a "Road Rep" or supporting our planning and social committees, or contributing to the production and distribution of our Newsletter - and to help us evolve with the changing times.
