A warm welcome from Harrogate Nova, Harrogate’s oldest Cycling Club.

We welcome all new riders who would like to join one of our rides before considering becoming a member! Try the Saturday ride for a couple of rides and then join if you enjoy it!  There are usually 2 or 3 groups at differing paces, starting from Prologue on Cold Bath Road with a start time of 9am in the summer and 9.30 in the winter. The route for that week is made available via a Strava link a couple of days before. When you turn up, please make yourself known as a first timer to whoever looks like they are organising it so they can introduce you to the others properly and try and ensure you will be riding with a group you are comfortable in.

Anyone joining Harrogate Nova club ride is expected to abide by the Highway Code and ride responsibly and sensibly. Riders are responsible for their own safety and must ride in a manner that is safe for themselves, other riders and road users. It is strongly recommended that all members join British Cycling, Cycling UK or similar for third party insurance and legal aid purposes.
