Welcome to Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Limited

We are a non-profit membership organisation, set up in 1990, for the promotion of counselling and psychotherapy in Hampshire, UK, connecting professionals as well as those with an interest in the professions.

Annual membership is open to adults who are qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as students of each and people who work using counselling skills or who have an interest in doing so. 

For counsellors and psychotherapists based in or near Hampshire, UK, HACP promotes and provides opportunities for professional development, training, networking and support.

Membership benefits include:

• 10 x free monthly evening talks per year, on a variety of topics, each with 2 hours CPD certificate. Free refreshments provided at in-person talks too!
• A variety of low-cost full-day CPD events/training days each year, in-person, in Hampshire, each with 5-6 hours CPD certificate
• A free directory listing if qualified and registered with a professional body (eg: NCPS, BACP, UKCP..)
• A monthly newsletter
• Connection and networking opportunities with other therapists
• Ad hoc advertising, relevant to the professions (eg: job vacancies, room hire, training courses, etc)
