We’re a long established club of around 150 people who love having adventures in the mountains, whether that’s climbing, walking, mountaineering, or all three. Our club runs a full calendar of member-organised meets throughout the year, offering something for everyone.
Thinking of joining?
We offer a Prospective Membership for just £10, which gives you three months to get to know us. During that time, you’ll be added to our WhatsApp group, included in our mailing list, and most importantly, you’re welcome to join any of our trips or meets. It’s a great way to see what we’re about before deciding if you’d like to become a full member.

We meet socially at 8pm on the first Tuesday of every month at the 270 Climbing Park. Feel free to drop by for a chat — it’s a great way to meet current members and ask any questions you may have, keep an eye out for the GMC Tshirts.
