Gardens Lawn Tennis Club Limited - Membership Page

This site is for new member applications and existing member renewals and where members can manage their contact details - all information provided is covered by the Gardens Privacy Policy and Membermojo Privacy Policy.

Memberships run from 1 April to 31 March. 

Memberships types (for both new and renewals) - all ages as at 1 April:

• Adult - Playing >25y and ≤65 (plus their U16 children)
• Senior - Playing >65y (on 1 April)
• Young Adult - Playing ≥19y and ≤25y (on 1 April)
• Junior - Playing <16y (if not joining as child of Adult member) OR ≥16y and <19y (on 1 April)
• Off Peak Adults - Weekdays 8am to 5pm excluding bank holidays, Saturdays 2pm to 9pm 
• Off Peak Junior - Playing <16y (if not joining as child of Adult Off Peak member) OR ≥16y and <19y (on 1 April).  - Weekdays 8am to 5pm excluding bank holidays, Saturdays 2pm to 9pm
• Social - Non playing >18y 

Plus £10 for shares. Please note, all new adult members >18y, including Young Adult, Off Peak and Social members, must pay £10 on top of the annual fee and joining fee, for 10 shares in the club. A share certificate will be provided.

Social members receive shares in the Club, can vote at Club meetings, are eligible for the Committee and the Wimbledon ballot and are included in the newsletters.  Please note a change in the rules - an adult tennis playing member is permitted to bring his or her partner to the bar without their partner being a Social member, but we recommend social membership if they want the above privileges. 

Membership fees are full price until 1st of July as listed on the page. Membership applications approved after this date are entitled to a 25% discount, after 1st October to a 50% discount and after 1st January to a 75% discount. 

MEMBER RENEWALS

Please log in (via the orange button on the right) and complete the following:

1. Check your membership type;
2. Update personal details (if necessary);
3. Check the box to confirm you've read/agree Terms of Membership (including new data protection rules) and will abide by club rules;
4. Payment by Bank Transfer (Bank details: Sort Code 20-90-69; Account no. 70135186) and make payment ASAP. 
5. Enter the club tournament (late April to July each year) - whilst you can do later, you risk disappointment by leaving it!

Members who fail to renew and/or pay their subscriptions by 1 April are not entitled to play beyond 31 March and will be liable for an additional £10 charge.

NEW MEMBER APPLICATIONS

Please note that New Members must also pay a one-off Joining Fee and for Shares (if >18y): 

• Joining Fee: £65 Adult /£15 per junior (if not joining with parents)
• Shares: £10 (payable by all members aged 18+)
• Payment by Bank Transfer (Bank details: Sort Code 20-90-69; Account no. 70135186)
