FoBPC aims to preserve, improve and enhance the historic St Michael's church building as an amenity for the benefit of the community and visitors to the town. We are concerned with fabric rather than faith and we aim to safeguard one of the oldest and best buildings in Bude Haven. Our members include local people, visitors and local businesses.
Our major works to date include funding towards the disabled access, the provision of low-energy lighting, an easily accessible toilet and repairs to the guttering and stonework to prevent water ingress. With your help, we can keep the church permanently open and thriving for another 190 years.
Friends Membership: Adult - £10 per year Family - £25 per year (all living at the same address)
We have deliberately kept the membership fee low to allow all to join. If you can afford to pay more then please do make a donation which we’ll put towards the church’s repairs and maintenance.
Friends receive a copy of the next magazine to keep them updated with progress and they will also be entitled to vote at general meetings (one vote per membership fee).
Paying for Membership
There are three methods of payment: Standing order, Cheque or by Bank transfer. In each case, please also email or post us the completed membership form below, including whether you can Gift Aid. We will not pass on your details to any other organisations.
Standing orders allow you to renew your membership automatically. Make arrangements with your bank, using our bank details as below and your name as a reference.
Bank transfers can be made via a banking app on your phone. If you wish to subscribe annually, please make a note of your renewal date or use a standing order!
Cheques should be made payable to Friends of Bude Haven Parish Church and can be sent with your form to the address below.

Gift Aid boosts the value of your donation to us. If you are a UK taxpayer and pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax that is more than your donation, please consider agreeing to Gift Aid.
One-off donations are most welcome. These can be made using a bank transfer via a banking app on your phone. please give "Donor your name" as the reference and email us so that we can thank you. If you wish to Gift Aid the donation, we need to record your name, address and postcode but we will not use your details for any other purpose.
