We are a friendly carriage driving club focussing on training and development, with fun competitions too.

Where leisure, working, coaching & competition equines meet.

We are affiliated to British Carriagedriving.

The aim of the club is to encourage and facilitate the development of, & participation in, the sport of Carriage Driving for all.

We run :

• Training (including GB Pod)
• Backstepper Training
• Steward and Judges Training
• Practice days
• Have a Go Days
• Long Reining
• Desensitisation and Horse Agility
• Driven Trec
• Driven Treasure Hunts
• Driven Dresssage and Cones
• Mini Camps
• Working Days - including farmwork and logging 
• Indoor Carriage Driving National Qualifiers
• Outdoor Events including BC Gateway Qualifiers

Our club ethos is all about:

• Supporting & encouraging drivers with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Ensuring that competitors take part fairly and within the rules
• Promoting and ensuring the ethical & fair treatment of all horses & ponies at all times
• Promoting carriage driving to the wider equine community & general public
• Promoting competing to win but not at the cost of development
• Collaboration with other driving clubs not competition

Our club training philosophy provides clear direction and guidance to our process of supporting the development of our members.

• Inspire a love for the sport
• Deliver age & standard appropriate coaching to support members journey through the different competition formats 
• Offer a challenging but a supportive environment where members can learn from their mistakes
• Let members have a go at different carriage driving formats such as Trec, Indoor Driving, Working, etc
• Use a positive and enthusiastic manner with trainees at all times
• Use variety of coaches based on the needs of the members and the club
