New Membership and Renewal Area

Welcome to Cobra Running & Triathlon Club, founded in 1991 by a group of friends from Halesowen who enjoyed running, we now have c.110 members who age from 18 to 80.

Athletes of all abilities, are most welcome to train with Cobra.  We are happy for you to join us for a couple of weeks with no obligation to see if we suit your needs.  If you live in the surrounding areas or are just passing through, come and pay us a visit.

Cobra is affiliated to England Athletics and British Triathlon Federation

Benefits of being a Cobra member include;

• Discount on race entry costs via England Athletics affiliation
• Discount on swimming at Halesowen Leisure Centre and use of changing facilities for club sessions
• Discounts at local sports shops
• Training with friendly, likeminded people
• EA and BTF qualified run leaders
• Social activities throughout the year
• Opportunity to represent the club in regional cross country leagues

Annual membership is £45 for 2026 (1st January - 31st December). A reduced membership cost of £25 applies after 1st September 2026. This includes your England Athletics affiliation (which costs £23 for 2026/27).

If transferring from another club a fee of £10 may be payable to England Athletics to complete your transfer/affiliation. You are exempt from payment if you have left your previous club for 3 years or more.
