Welcome to Cheltenham Canoe Club

Cheltenham Canoe Club is an active family friendly canoe club. A wide range of club activities are organised throughout the year to suit all paddling abilities including white water trips, easy touring, slalom and polo.

In the summer we have the privilege to use Cheltenham’s Sandford Parks Lido on a Thursday evening to practice skills and polo games, which is very popular with club members.

We are a very active club, with people out paddling most weekends if the weather’s right! The club caters for all levels of paddlers, from those who like a gentle flat paddle (perhaps with a picnic!) to adrenaline junkies running huge waterfalls.

Weekends can take us into Wales, down to Dartmoor or just to the Wye or Avon.  Our annual Alps trip even allows some paddling in the sun. 

The club is always keen to welcome new members whether new to the sport or well established paddlers wanting to join an active and progressive club.
