
To sign up as a new member and to access Carousels facilities, you must have previous printmaking experience in your chosen specialism(s) and be over 18years. This is to be able to work independently and safely. Volunteer technicians are available for basic support.
Beginner/ refreshers courses:

Membership for printmakers with previous experience:
Annual Membership is £50 per year including a new member induction, plus session fees (see below) and materials
Concessions £30 per year including a new member induction, plus session fees (see below) and materials
Open Access Session Fees are £20 for a block of 5hrs / £15 concessions
1:1 bespoke teaching £50/hr for minimum 2hrs
Concessionary rates are for those on benefits/financially vulnerable, students and YAS studio holders only (proof of elegibility may be requested).
Opening Hours:
Open access hours are 10-3pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and Sundays ( opening days and times may vary during school holidays and bank holiday weekends)
Before booking your first session you need to complete a free studio induction. Please email to book your induction.
We are closed most bank holidays. Session spaces are limited and must be booked in advance through the Carousel website - a booking link will be sent to you once you have joined / renewed.

Non Toxic studio:
We aim to be a non toxic printmaking workshop and to have a low environmental impact, as well as being safe for people's health. We use safe wash oil based or water based printmaking inks, and low impact cleaning products wherever possible. We run regular courses in safe etching (using copper sulphate). If you are not familiar with these techniques, we reccommend you sign up to one of our courses www.carouselprintstudio.com/courses

Carousel Print Studio are a registered charity and not for profit organisation. We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming (and warm!) space, providing the public in Sheffield with access to facilities through printmaking courses and open access. We promote the visual arts and creativity in Sheffield, creating opportunities for freelancers as well as a vibrant community of printmakers.
