Our fundraising initiative, Friends of the Bloody Sunday Trust, was launched on 15 June 2015 at the city's Guildhall. This is an ongoing initiative, so please spread the word and help us develop the Bloody Sunday Trust and Museum of Free Derry to their fullest potential.
WHY DOES THE TRUST NEED FRIENDS?
In order to develop the work of the Trust and the Museum, we always need additional funding. The Bloody Sunday Trust is a registered charity, and all finances raised go towards our not-for-profit projects, like the Museum and Derry Model, and towards our programmes. This was especially important for the highly successful 50th anniversary commemoration of Bloody Sunday.
We hope that supporters from far and wide will consider signing up to help support the work of the Trust and help safeguard the future of Museum of Free Derry.
All Friends of the Bloody Sunday Trust will be sent a regular electronic newsletter, keeping you up to date with news and developments as we embark on a significant new era for the Museum of Free Derry.
Thanks to all who have supported us, past and present.
