THE NEWSLETTER published twice yearly to keep you up-to-date with forthcoming events and news items.
THE SEED DISTRIBUTION SCHEME the opportunity to obtain Iris seeds which you can try for yourself.
THE PLANT SALES SCHEME the chance to buy Irises that may be difficult to find and at advantageous prices.
THE REFERENCE LIBRARY a loan library service of books on irises, including titles not readily available elsewhere.
THE IMAGE LIBRARY another loan service with over 5,000 digital images that embraces specialist interest subjects, e.g. TBs, Species, Siberian, Japanese, Pacific Coast, etc.
MEMBERSHIP OF LOCAL AND SPECIALIST GROUPS gives you the chance to join one of the Specialist or Local Groups who hold informative meetings and provides the opportunity to make new friends with fellow enthusiasts. Note that separate subscription is payable for some groups.
EXHIBIT IRISES take an active part at the BIS Shows. Newcomers are always welcomed and encouraged to join in these colourful events. There are special classes for juniors and newcomers.
EXPERTISE ON HAND seek advice from keen and experienced Iris growers who are always pleased to offer help.

Membership is for 12 months and renewal reminders are sent out before it expires.

Family UK Membership - Full membership to the society for a family, you receive a welcome pack including a free BIS publication (If available). Printed Yearbook each year in the post, Newsletters and have acces to all the benefits above.
European Membership - Full membership to the society for 1 person living in the EU, you receive a welcome pack including a free BIS publication (If available). Printed Yearbook each year in the post, Newsletters and have acces to all the benefits above.
Worldwide Membership - Full membership to the society for 1 person living anywhere in the world, you receive a welcome pack including a free BIS publication (If available). Printed Yearbook each year in the post, Newsletters and have acces to all the benefits above.
e-Membership - Full membership to the society for 1 person, everything is sent digitally via email instead of in the post, you still have access to all the benefits above.
Student e-Membership - This membership is free and is available to any students of horticulture with a student email address.
