Membership Page

Welcome to our membership page, from which you can manage and renew your existing membership, or apply to join the Bristol Music Club. Click on our logo above (top left-hand corner) to be taken to the Club home page. Explanatory notes regarding subscriptions, including the system for Couple and Family memberships, are at the bottom of this page.

Membership entitles you not only to support amateur music-making around Bristol but also to free entry to all our concerts. You can also propose putting on a concert, should you or your friends wish to perform. If you want to use the Club for practising you can obtain a key on payment of a one-off deposit and subsequent annual rentals.

• If you are renewing your membership, thank you very much for continuing with your support. Please click SIGN IN at the top right-hand corner of this page to renew using the most recent email address that you have given us. You can access the system using email only, although you may set a password if you prefer. If you have a standing order in place, do please remember to cancel it.
• If you want to join us for the first time, we extend a very warm welcome. Please contact the  Membership Secretary to discuss the type of membership appropriate for you. You can then return to this page to join by clicking the Join Us/Renew button on the right - or at the bottom of the page for some mobile phones. You will receive an email notice of acceptance, and formal approval will be recorded at the next Committee meeting.

We love welcoming members to our concerts, both as audience and participants. If you would like to get involved in helping to run the Club and the concerts, we would wholeheartedly welcome you on to the Club Committee. Members of the Committee help out at concerts - for example, serving behind the bar, taking payments on the door - and also attend three meetings a year, at which all aspects of running the Club are discussed. Some members also take on particular duties, such as Membership Secretary or Programme Secretary. Please contact contactbristolmusicclub@gmail.com if you would like to discuss how you might help. 

Subscriptions: explanatory notes

1.  Couple and Family memberships have a “lead” member who usually pays the subscription and to whom emails and correspondence will be sent.  Other members residing at the same address are recorded by the system as "linked" members.

2.  All subscriptions expire at the end of the calendar year. We will invite you to renew your subscription about one month before the start of the year. Rates for those joining between July and November are half the annual rate. Those joining in December must subscribe for the following year but, as a gesture of goodwill, do not have to pay for the December in which they join.
