Belper Historical Society has worked since 1957 to promote a better understanding and appreciation of Belper’s history and heritage.

Join Belper Historical Society and throughout the year you’ll find talks and other events that will help you understand and appreciate the history and heritage of the town and the wider county of Derbyshire. As we continue to explore and catalogue our archive, members will also have exclusive access to resources in our collections.

Meetings are held monthly at Strutts Community Centre on Derby Road, Belper, DE56 1UU, with local walks in July and August. Membership costs £15 per year; follow the link on this page to join or renew your membership.
