Brinkburn Swim School has taught thousands of children to swim and continues to thrive as a popular and successful venue.
We reccomend prompt booking as our blocks of lessons rapidly sell out. If you are not successful in securing a space we maintain waiting lists to assist you in getting a place.
Brinkburn Aquatics - Rookie Lifeguards
A new and exciting venture for 2020 will see Brinkburn Aquatics open its very own Rookie Lifeguards School.
For children who can swim at Stage 3 Level we provide a hour long session where we teach Water Safety and Lifeguarding Skills in our friendly and safe environment.
Rookie Lifeguards sessions cost £5 and are payable as a block, participants must be Community Centre members and sessions are only bookable online.
Rookie lessons are available to book in our members online store. If you are not a member yet simply join Brinkburn Aquatics with the Rookie Membership option, once approved and you have paid your membership fee you will gain access to the online shop.
Please note that Membership fees are non-refundable.
Our Friendly Swimming Teachers & Lifeguards hold professional qualifications and are all checked through the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
Simply select the Stage you wish to join and complete the application process. We require the details of the student, emergency information and the parent/guardians contact details. Once you submit your details our staff will assess your application before offering you a place.
If you are enroling more than one student, please complete them one at a time. You can add additional people to your account from the Your Membership page in the online portal.
Existing students will get first refusal for the next block of swimming lessons. System users will receive priority renewal emails, online renewals will be fast and simple at a time to suit you. Existing Online Members Click Here to Renew
All applications are subject to approval by our swimming staff. Incorrect applications may be amended or rejected. All applicants must be paid up members of Brinkburn CIO to be eligible to partipate in our Swim School.
Payment online is via VISA or Mastercard.
Payments by cash can only be made in person at the centre, following a manual paper application process.
There will be a delay to the processing of memberships paid in cash and electronic applications have precedence for securing places.
You have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of payment providing the lessons have not started.
Refunds are not normally available except in exceptional circumstances and will only available by written applicaton to the Centre Management.
An adminsitration fee of £5 will apply to any refunds to cover the transaction costs.

If you cannot use this system our staff will assist you in ensuring your information is correct and your applications are submitted correctly. We still accept manual paper enrolment in person at reception.
