If you are thinking of joining, one thing we can guarantee is a very warm welcome.
**New Member Offer ** Join today and enjoy membership up until 28th February 2027.
You may be interested in sailing, learning to dinghy-sail, powerboating, kayaking, swimming, or simply becoming a social member; our friendly club will be the perfect venue for you.
Unfortunately, there is currently no kayak storage available. We are hoping some will be available later in the year, so please email us to be added to the waiting list.
We have an active sailing section, with our sailors meeting regularly at our waterside RYA-approved training centre on Oddicombe Beach, where we race, train, or social sail from April to late November. Our sailing sessions are all about enjoyment; experienced sailors and club instructors are always on hand to offer advice and guidance to any new member. We have a fleet of single and double-handed dinghies available to hire for a small fee. There is space for dinghy storage and parking for any member who regularly sails with us, as well as for kayaks. Please email the club for further details.
Why not learn to dinghy sail? RYA-approved training courses are run throughout the season for both adults and juniors. Please contact us at babbacombe.corinthians@gmail.com if you are interested
We meet and socialise at our top clubhouse on Thursday, Friday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes and hold various social events, usually on a Saturday. We have many non-sailing members who have joined BCSC solely for the club's friendly social atmosphere.
Please pop in for a chat if you want to see what we get up to before joining. You will find many of our members and flag officers in the top clubhouse, who will be happy to provide information about our club. If the on-water and beach activities interest you, you will find us at our bottom clubhouse most Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons from April. For Swimming please pop down on Saturday morning
Any new memberships will now run until 28th February 2027.
*A Junior Member shall be a person under the age of 18 years on the first day of the subscription year of the Club
**A Country membership does not include organised sailing activities, and any individual wishing to sail must join as a full member.
If you do envisage sailing with us, storing a kayak or joining our Sea Swimming, please note that accessing the beach clubhouse requires a fob. This cost is £30 per person per year (Adults only). Without purchasing a fob, access to the facilities is not available. The fob can be purchased through the store.
Any member renewing will be charged at the above rate.
