By becoming a member of the Avon Valley Railway Heritage Trust, you are helping to support our restoration projects and keeping steam alive in the Avon Valley.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

Members who subscribe by Annual Membership receive the following benefits:

1. Three vouchers entitling you to travel for just £1 (which you simply exchange at the Booking Office of the day of travel). Each ticket is valid for a whole day, for as many journeys as are available that day. You can either use them yourself, or pass them on to friends or family so that they may enjoy the experience.

2. Half price travel for yourself: This can be used on as many days as you wish throughout the year (special events excluded).

3. Semaphore magazine: The Avon Valley Railway’s official members’ magazine ‘Semaphore’. This currently annual magazine is a mine of information about the Railway, with updates on the latest goings and stories from the rails. Containing many photographs, this a quality full colour illustrated magazine .

4. Ground Signal: a supplementary e-newsletter published for members, between issues of Semaphore. In Ground Signal, you can catch up on all latest news of progress on the railway.
5. 10% off all purchases in our buffet and gift shop at Bitton Station.
6. 25% off Dining Train tickets: Book within 4 weeks of departure and enjoy a 25% discount on our Dining Experiences.
7. The chance to help run YOUR railway by volunteering: with opportunities to be trained in a variety of activities connected with the operation of the line, from Ticket Inspector to Engine Driver.

PREMIER GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Premier Gold Membership gives you additional advantages over and above annual membership, and in most cases works out cheaper as well. Premier Gold Membership lasts for five years (Adult or Over 60), subscriptions offers a saving of around 12% over the standard, annual subscription, and of course all Premier Gold Members also receive 3 vouchers every year of their member years after that they will also have Half price travel for yourself on as many days as you wish throughout the year (special events excluded).

LOCAL RESIDENTS MEMBERSHIP

If you live within a 3 mile radius of Bitton Station (BS30 6HD) then you are eligible for our Local Residents Membership. Receive all the standard benefits of membership for just £10 per year. Our Local Resident members will receive Ground Signal, Semaphore and all communications electronically. Our Local Resident members don't having voting rights.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Our Associate Members receive the same benefits as standard members just without voting rights.
