Welcome to Arnside Sailing Club

 

Arnside Sailing Club offers sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Our club house on the Promenade is used for music nights and social functions. The Club has doubled its membership since 2022.  It was a Sailing Club of a Year finalist in 2019 and 2022. The Club is a registered charitable incorporated organisation.

Membership entitles you to

  1. Take part in the the wide range of water sports offered by the club in one of the country's most scenic locations..
  2. Access to  club boats, canoes and paddle boards  (subject to experience and availabilty). Use of club kayaks and paddle boards is free for members. This is anadditional small yearly fee for use of club sailing dinghies.
  3. Storage of boats and kayaks in our dinghy park (subject to a boat park fee, available space, craft being in good condition and being used on a regular basis)
  4. Discounts on sailing and water sports training run by the Club at Arnside and Killington
  5. Discounts on cadet sessions.
  6. The right to take part in our Club Nights at Killington on Thursday Evenings from the end of May to mid September for a small ffee.
  7. Programme of social events in our clubhouse in the historic Old Customs House on Arnside Promenade (some events may be charged for)
  8. Discounted entry to most music concerts in our clubhouse (Members may have to pay the full price for more well known bands, especially those with a national reputation).
  9. The right to lay a mooring on the estuary 

Use of club craft is subject to experience, our terms and conditions for use of club craft and equipment and at your own risk.

Our membership year runs from 1st March to the end of February.

The Club is a charity meaning that we can claim gift aid on any donations.

Membership Year

Our membership year runs from the 1st March to February 28/29th. Members joining after 1st September will pay 50% of the annual subscription. If you join after 1st November your membership is carried forward to the next year.

The information you provide in your membership application will be used solely for dealing with you as a member of Arnside Sailing Club.  The club has a Data Privacy Policy. Your data will be stored and used in accordance with this Policy.
