Welcome to Alchester Running Club!

Thank you for your interest in Alchester Running Club. We would love to welcome you to our club.

All memberships expire on 31st March 2022 and will then be subject to renewal. Membership cost from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 is £36 for first claim and £20 for second claim (ie. if you are first claim member of a different affiliated club).  

Benefits of membership

Apart from a lot of friendly people to run with there are a considerable number of benefits of first claim membership:

• Alchester Running Club is affiliated to Oxon AA, the South East AA and England Athletics
• Club members do not have to pay the unattached levy when entering races (£2 saving)
• Insurance
• Free entry to Ridgeway Relay
• Free coaching on a Tuesday
• Safer winter running in groups on a Thursday
• Village routes in groups on a Thursday in the summer
• Subsidised trip to London Marathon (as a runner or spectator)
• Entry to London Marathon club ballot (subject to qualifying conditions)
• Reduced fee to Motavation Series
• Summer party
• Subsidised end of season awards dinner
• Club discount for sessions at Williamson Chiropractic & Sports Injuries Clinic (TBC)

Please note: When you become a member of or renew your membership with Alchester Running Club, your data will be added to the club database for use by club committee members and you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). 

England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings).
