Welcome to the Friends of Goring Library (FoGL)

The Friends support the library in many ways, both financially and practically, by:

• Providing funding for our Customer Service Adviser, Jane Crowther. Which means that our Library Manager, Kate Cheng, has time to plan events for both children and adults as well as visiting community groups to talk about the library.
• Organising the weekly Story & RhymeTime sessions
• Managing the team of volunteers who support Kate and run the library without paid staff support on Monday mornings.
• Purchasing books for the library
• Funding children’s activities
• Providing a daily newspaper and the weekly Henley Standard

Friends of Goring Library is a charity, registered with HMRC for Gift Aid purposes.

FOGL only holds your personal details so that we may communicate with you in relation to the Library and FOGL. This includes matters associated with your subscription, keeping you informed about events at the library, author talks and other events. We do not share your details with any other organisations but may provide you with a link to communicate directly with them where relevant.
